This year, Triple R celebrates 40 years on air.

Since its inception as an educational broadcaster in 1976, Triple R has become Australia's largest community radio station with almost 14,000 subscribers and more than 440,000 listeners per week. 

CBAA conference keynote announced

RocKwiz producer and co-host Brian Nankervis will deliver the keynote address at the CBAA Conference in Melbourne in November.
Nankervis fell in love with radio as a young lad, listening in front of the kerosene heater on a rainy day.

Ash & Ice is the fifth album from iconic indie rock duo The Kills. 

Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will be making their long awaited return to Australia and will be stopping by the Triple R Performance Space on Sunday July 24th to play an exclusive live set during Under The Sun with Jonathan Alley at 7.30pm with doors at 7pm.

Since 2008, Open House Melbourne has connected people with good design and architecture.

As part of their 40th year celebrations Triple R will open its doors on Saturday 30th July from 10am till 4pm.

Announcers and staff will be on hand to show you through the six studios, record and CD libraries, the office and meeting spaces.

Community stations unite for National Day of Action today

A number of community radio stations have interrupted their regular programming today to celebrate the diversity and independence of community radio.

We reported yesterday that Triple R in Melbourne is dedicating all of today's programming to Keep Community Radio Day Of Action. You can expect to hear lots of your favourite announcers, special guests and live performances throughout the day to remind you of just how important this campaign is to the future of community radio as a whole.
