Triple M’s No Talk Day 2020 expands across 43 stations

Triple M’s No Talk Day will return on Wednesday July 1, 2020 to raise awareness of men’s mental health, with partners Beyond Blue.
 
The inaugural No Talk Day was held in 2019 across four metro markets and this year rolls out across 43 Triple M stations around Australia.
 
From 6:00am - 6:00pm on July 1, Triple M is filling the airwaves with inspirational stories from people who have admirably found their way back from significant mental health challenges and how they did it.
 

Aussies who are slaying the radio scene overseas: Carmela Contarino

Carmela Contarino is one ex-pat who has found her feet and is making a mark in the UK.

 
Before heading to London, Carmela had stints at Triple M, Radio West, Mix 106.5 and Edge 96.1

She tells radioinfo about what she is doing and how it feels to be lockdown so far from home. "Iso, quarantine and COVID-19” have given her a chance to reflect on the past five years.
 

SCA live streaming grows again in May

Southern Cross Austereo says that as COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease, their live radio streaming remains a constant with more people tuning into Hit and Triple M stations than ever before.
 
May was another record-breaking month for SCA for live radio streaming, which increased another 3% month on month and 42% year on year to reach 1.3 million listeners*.
 
Catch up radio podcasts also had a huge month, rising 47% year on year with 3.4 million downloads^ of popular Hit and Triple M shows.

Triple M and Hit Networks will stand together on ANZAC Day

The Triple M and Hit networks have joined the growing list of radio stations that will stand together this ANZAC Day to encourage listeners from across the nation to support Australian service men and women.
 
The ANZAC Day Commemorative Service will be broadcast across all 98 stations, on the both the Triple M and Hit networks, live from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
