It all started with 107.3 Hobart's Triple M Brett "Marls" Marley cooking a thin beef snag on the George Foreman grill for morning tea in the staff kitchen.

It sparked an idea by the Dave Noonan Show' s Dave, who decided to set out and create Hobart's very own Sausage.

"We're creating Hobart's Signature Sausage and all thanks to Bok's Bacon, we're taking your suggestions and together, we'll put together a recipe that represents Hobart and everything about us."

 

Radio remembers Black Tuesday 1967

It may have been 50 years ago, but today the emotions run high as Tasmanians remember the devastating bushfires of Black Tuesday.

On Tuesday, 7 February 1967, 64 lives were lost, 7500 people were left homeless and almost 1300 homes were burnt to the ground.

80,000 stock were claimed as 182,000ha burnt in high winds across 110 fire fronts and the 39 C degree day made it almost impossible for fire fighters to get a hold of the blaze as it raged across the state.

Triple M Hobart (previously Heart 107.3) has kicked off the year with a new breakfast show.
 
Alison Plath an announcer and comedian from Queensland has stepped in alongside Dave Noonan following the departure of Kylie Baxter from the breakfast role.
 
Kylie returns to the newsroom as journalist and newsreader at Triple M, a role she held before replacing Kim Napier in 2015.
 
The show is now known as The Dave Noonan Show.
