Triple M Brisbane Grill Team: Wendall predicted he'd break Ross' arm

Gus Worland: a bigger man for having lost a lot of weight

Monday 03 November, 2014
Now he runs a Marathon.

Just six months ago, The Triple M Grill Team’s Gus Worland weighed in at a dangerously unfit 140kgs. The self-confessed, former chocolate-eating, cheesecake-loving radio host, husband and father, not only stepped up to the challenge of shedding the kilos but has succeeded in defeating his old habits.

This morning he ran the New Marathon - 42 kilometres in six hours and twenty-nine minutes.

Triple M Grill Team’s Gus Worland stirs up ‘The Burrow’

Thursday 25 September, 2014
The Triple M Grill Team’s die-hard Roosters supporter Gus Worland hit the streets of Redfern in a Roosters themed stretch limo this morning, to stir up the passionate bunnies fans in the lead up to this Friday’s massive clash between the Roosters and the Rabbitohs.

Rather than hide behind a studio microphone, Gus accepted a dare to face the Rabbitohs fans on their home soil, as he gave them a serving of Souths jokes through a massive set of loudspeakers.

A bummer for Gus

Monday 15 September, 2014
It’s bad enough to be forced into getting a tattoo on your butt. But when it’s of a Panther and your favourite team is the Roosters - which were downed by said Panthers by just one point on the weekend - no wonder Gus Worland (pictured) is biting down on a towel while the tattooist’s tool bores into the flesh of the broad canvas he’s offered up for the task.
