Tony Martin returned to radio yesterday for a one off appearance, going on air at Triple M with Merrick Watts on Merrick & Australia.

Merrick asked Martin, does it feel weird to be back on air in the drive slot?

"It's been eight years, but I notice the music is still the same," he joked.

One of the world’s hottest bands,Twenty One Pilots, will play an exclusive Triple M Garage Session for fans this Wednesday 27 April live at Triple M HQ.

To celebrate the release of their massive second studio album ‘Blurryface’, the band are currently on the road in Australia on a sold out headline tour and will appear at the nation’s much-loved Groove In The Moo festival.

The Living End join Merrick...thank you Spray & Wipe

The Living End has visited Triple M's Merrick, as part of a new segment called ‘Sell Out’.

They were asked to cover an old ad jingle, after much deliberation they went with the Ajax Spray & Wipe commercial.

The reason they chose it was because they had a crush on the star of the 90’s commercial ‘Paula Duncan’ (who was listening and called in afterwards).

Record digital audience for SCA

Nielsen’s latest digital publishing results have revealed a total audience for SCA of 1.486M for the month of February.
This figure is the highest ever recorded by SCA.
The Hit Network and Triple M are also placed #1 and #2 radio network respectively, with Entertainment and Sport continuing to engage SCA’s audience digitally. Triple M Sydney was the biggest radio website based on Unique Digital Audience in February.

Gibson and Duckworth return to 2MMM Sydney

There was considerable excitement when 2MMM announced over the Christmas/New Year period radio favourites Rob Duckworth and Dave Gibson were “briefly” returning to the M’s for a 2 hour Saturday morning show creatively titled “Gibson & Duckworth”.   Then McDonald’s announced it would be making it’s breakfast menu available all day and now it would appear for the foreseeable future Duck and Gibbo will remain a permanent fixture from 7-9am as lead ins to the ‘Dead Set Legends’ every Saturday morning.

Australia Day with Triple M: a boat, backyard cricket, beer and a barbie

Triple M celebrated Australia Day yesterday with a floating cricket pitch on Sydney Harbour. It was the Triple M’s first ever ‘Australia One-Dayer’, where the station transformed an entire barge into a huge floating game of backyard cricket.

Hosted by Merrick Watts, the Australia One-Dayer attracted lots of attention from neighbouring vessels as well as the water police and featured performances by iconic Australian artists James Reyne and Thirsty Merc.
