Thursday 25 June, 2015

Geoff Field, newsreader on 2DAY hit 104.1 is participating in a Mardi Gras fundraiser in Sydney on Saturday night - a Jimmy Fallon style Lip Sync challenge called Lip-Sync Duels.

Geoff, who is proudly the first openly gay newsreader on Australian radio, will be raising money for one of the charities he supports, The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation.

He is one of a bunch of high profile Sydney-siders participating in the event.

There are rumours he could even be dueting with one of the hosts Gretel Killeen.

Spot the straight guys at the Mardi Gras

Sunday 02 March, 2014

Having dubbed the station 2Gay FM in honour of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, 2Day FM sent two of their finest into the fray.

To cover the event, Sophie Monk and Jules Lund were heavily disguised, Sophie shimmered from head to toe as the queen mermaid on the under the sea themed ‘Hot Kandi’ float led by Trishy Dishy, while her breakfast co-host Jules Lund was surprised on the night with the revelation that he would be joining the ‘Harbour City Bears’ float - wearing a super hero outfit!
