The results of Survey 1, 2014 have now been made public.

The survey was conducted for Commercial Radio Australia by Gfk, between Sun Jan 19 - Sat Mar 1 2014.

The big news is how Kyle and Jackie have brought their audience with them to KIIS, at the expense of 2Day.

In January, ARN CEO Ciaran Davis told radioinfo he wanted to have the number one and two FM stations in Sydney. He will go one step closer to that goal when today's ratings are released, with KIIS set for a big jump at the expense of 2Day.

​CRA’s facebook page goes orange for survey 1

This survey’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas with CRA decorating their facebook page in GfK orange to add colour to the event.

It’s such a jolly idea, we’ve decided to get into the spirit of things, so we changed our facebook banner too.

The real party begins when the survey’s released at 10 o’clock this morning.

“The results will be in line with expectations.”

Every program/content director worth their salt has this phrase in their arsenal of initial responses to questions about survey results: “It’s in line with our expectations.” Good, bad or indifferent, it’s this phrase that endows the user with infinite wisdom.

It gives the impression that while the results may be in the toilet, everything’s under control. Despite the screams of his nubile assistant and blood pouring out of the saw box the magician assures us, “It’s all part of the act folks.”
