Supernetwork extends regional coverage

Bill Caralis, independent owner and operator of the 2SM Supernetwork, has launched his new translator services from 2VM 1530 AM Moree.

Supernetwork Group engineer Alan Bone, who plans and installs all Supernetwork facilities, turned the on-air switch yesterday morning on the new state of the art installations and 92.9 FM Lightning Ridge and 103.5 FM Collarenebri went to air.

The installation of these two new translator services is part of the annual multi million dollars technical upgrade development plan for the network that has been running for 10 years with a further 13 new translator services to come on line.

Alan Bone told radioinfo“Bill has given me to Christmas to get these new services up and running and I am sure we can meet his deadline”.

Caralis added “I want to finish off all our regional translator installations this year and then move on to fitting out our brand new studio and office facilities for our 4 stations 2HD-New FM Newcastle and 2TM-FM 92.9 Tamworth. This then leaves us with new studio and office facilities to be built and fitted out at our recently purchased stations at Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Orange.”
