Embattled Labor backbencher, Belinda Neal has been harder to pin down than Osama bin Laden, but Star-FM’s Kathy Koutzas has succeeded where even the “prince of pushy”, ACA’s Ben Fordham, has failed.
At 4pm the Star-FM Central Coast News Director and afternoon announcer broadcast an interview with the elusive Ms Neal. By 5pm it was picked up by sister stations Nova 969 and vega 95.3fm in Sydney.
Sadly, none of the questions we really wanted answered were asked. But to be fair to Kathy, as the saying goes, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. And she must have used an awful lot of honey and local political clout to get Neal to talk at all.
