Sports Entertainment Network have appointed Matt White to head up the SEN League call team in 2022.

Matt White is an established sports commentator with over 30 years’ experience broadcasting major events across the globe and is heard regularly across the SEN airwaves as host of Mornings with Matt White on SEN 1170.

White, an avid Rugby League fan, is excited to be leading the charge saying, “After calling NRL games in 2021 alongside the likes of Scott Sattler and Brett Kimmorley, I’m so excited to be leading the team every week on SEN League in 2022.”

SEN League covers four NRL matches every regular round of the season, all 3 State of Origin games, and every match of the Finals.

The broadcast can be heard in Sydney on SEN 1170, through SEN Gold Coast 1620 and via the SEN App and features renowned NRL figures Scott Sattler, Brett Finch, Brett Kimmorley, Gary Belcher, Mark Carroll, Tim Mannah, Joel Caine, Jimmy Smith and more.

SEN Content Manager Jeremy Markham says White’s addition to the commentary team reflects the network’s mission to feature the best talent.

He says, “We’re really excited to have a broadcaster of his quality in the stable every week of the season. His appointment once again proves our commitment to having the big names covering the big games”.

Matt has been with SEN 1170 since its launch over 12 months ago and  will continue his regular morning show 9am-12pm Monday to Wednesday in conjunction with his new SEN League commitments.
