SEN is covering the Olympics across eight channels

Sports Entertainment Network’s live and exclusive coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Game has begun across eight simultaneous radio channels.
 
Chief sports commentator Gerard Whateley headlines SEN’s Olympic commentary team which includes live expert commentary from former swimming greats Rob Woodhouse, who is poolside in Tokyo, and James Magnussen
 
SEN will provide parochial coverage of the Olympics in every state aiming to deliver it through a local lens.
 

SENZ saddles up their app with TAB Trackside

Sports Entertainment Network has added the TAB Trackside channel to its SENZ app.
 
With the TAB Trackside audio channel already available, fans will now be able to either watch or listen to every race in New Zealand or abroad.

The new radio network kicked off with Baz and Izzy for Breakfast, featuring Brendon McCullum and Israel Dagg who scored an exclusive chat with their mate, New Zealand cricket captain Kane Williamson.

SEN enters the race in Tasmania

Sports Entertainment Network has unveiled details of its Tasmanian expansion, announcing three new radio signals across Tasmania’s biggest cities and a local content strategy led by Australian cricket captain and Hobart local Tim Paine and Tasmanian great and Richmond star Jack Riewoldt.
 
The localised version will be known as 1629 SEN Hobart, and the network has also secured distribution for its SENTrack format, into northern Tasmanian towns Launceston and Devenport.

SEG acquires the Perth Wildcats

Sports Entertainment Group, parent company of the SEN Sports radio network, has signed an agreement to purchase 100 per cent of the Perth Wildcats basketball team.
 
SEG Chairman Craig Coleman confirmed the purchase for an undisclosed sum from long-time owner Jack Bendat would proceed on 30 July, subject to final NBL approval.
 

SENZ sets it launch date in mid-July

SENZ today pledged to deliver New Zealand’s most devoted and dedicated 24/7 sports coverage ever of national teams as it unveiled Monday July 19 as its much-awaited start date for SENZ.
 
Sports Entertainment Network CEO Craig Hutchison hosted the SENZ media event in Auckland today at the famous Eden Park stadium, hours after the Blackcaps completed history as inaugural ICC world champions.
 

Simon Hill returns to call the A League finals

Simon Hill returns to call the start of the 2021 A League finals series this Saturday night on 1170 SEN.
 
Hill will be joined by Central Coast Mariners legend, Adam Kwasnik to commentate the opening match of the finals, with the Mariners set to take on final’s debutantes Macarthur Football Club.
 
The call will be live this Saturday on 1170 SEN and available across 801am SENTrack Central Coast, from 6:30-9:00pm.
  

Rikki Swannell confirmed to co-host on SENZ

Sports Entertainment Network have announced one of New Zealand’s most highly regarded broadcasters will join their stable of weekday talent on the soon-to-launch SENZ.
 
Rikki Swannell will co-host the Thursday drive show (4-7pm) alongside former All Black Stephen Donald.
