BMF's ALDI campaign wins round 4 of the Siren Awards

BMF’s Great Fresh Food Migration campaign for ALDI Australia has won Round 4 of the Siren Awards for radio advertising.
The whimsical campaign, by creatives Roy Leibowitz and Chris Wilson, imagines the sound of fresh produce migrating to the supermarket to remind consumers the products are Australian-grown and affordable.

Finalists for the best radio ad for 2019 have been announced with 11 of Australia’s leading agencies vying for the coveted Gold Siren to be awarded next month.
The finalists are BMF, Cox Inall Change and BWM Dentsu, Meerkats, Cummins & Partners, Eardrum, J. Walter Thompson, Clemenger BBDO, Nova Entertainment, Jayworks Partnership and Leo Burnett.

The best Australian radio ad of 2018 as judged by the Siren Council has been won by Ray Ali and Carlo Mazzarella from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.
 The pair won Gold and Silver at the Siren Awards with an ad about anxiety for mental health advocacy group beyondblue.

The Monkeys win Round 2 of Sirens with 150-word radio ad for Ice Break

Sydney agency, The Monkeys has won Round 2 of the 2018 Siren Awards taking out the single category and overall win with an ad for Ice Break Iced Coffee.
The fast-talking ad titled “Travis Auctioneer” by creative Grant Rutherford (pictured) breaks with convention by cramming 150 words into a 30-second radio spot.  The script focuses on a professional auctioneer who needs to start the day strong with an extra shot iced coffee. 

Marketforce win Round 1 of the Siren Awards

Marketforce creative team, Matt Wilson and Hayden Griffiths have taken out the single category and overall win in Round 1 of the 2018 Siren Awards with the ad “The Pitch” for St Ives Home Care. 
The winning ad is broadcast at 8000 hertz, to allow for a private conversation about aging parents, as it’s reported people over the age of 60 can’t clearly decipher a noise broadcast between 6000 to 12,000 hertz.  The radio spot was tested on people of various ages using car stereos before airing.

Tommy Medalia and Joe Hawkins have won Gold and Silver at the 2017 Gold Siren awards for a highly amusing series of ads designed to change driver behaviour for the Road Safety Commission called ‘Time with Mum.'
