It is designed for those looking to develop their own unique, on-air personality and learn skills to develop a career in media, including online and on radio. Voice Over Fundamentals 21 – 22 Jan Just having a great voice is not enough – you need the skills to be able to use it properly. Be guided through numerous practical exercises, in AFTRS state-of-the-art radio studios, designed to give you the techniques to get the best out of your voice and to get a start in the voice over industry.
Premiere Pro Fundamentals (4 – 5 Feb) is a two-day beginner’s course held on the AFTRS campus. This course will teach you how to edit using Premiere Pro, import and export to other editing systems, and work with other Adobe programs. The early bird price of $450 is available now.
The Director’s Journey with Lucy Gaffy (13 Feb – 2 Apr) is an eight-week, online intermediate course for emerging filmmakers. Led by award-winning and multi-talented director, Lucy Gaffy, this course offers insight into the role of the director to help take your craft to the next level. Filmmaking Intensive (16 – 20 Jan) is a five-day course held on-campus at AFTRS. In this course you will use the purpose-built, state-of-the-art AFTRS studios to learn about pre-production, directing, cinematography and post-production, using both theory and practical exercises. Industry Certificate: Camera Assisting (30 Jan – 17 Feb) is a three-week course held on the AFTRS campus from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
