Rove and Hellier fill in for Merrick and Rosso

Merrick & Rosso are going AWOL in June and they’ve bribed their buddies Rove McManus and Peter Helliar to be their official seat warmers.

Rove and Hellier will be moving to Sydney for two weeks to fill in on the Merrick & Rosso Breakfast Show on Nova 969. They have even agreed to move their Network Ten show Rove Live to Sydney for two weeks.

Nova 969 Program Director Scotty Muller has told radioinfo: “When Rove told us he could tell the time, he got the gig! If we stretch Rove and shrink Pete, the security guards might just mistake them for Merrick & Rosso.”

Rove says it really wasn’t hard to convince him to leave Melbourne for two weeks in the middle of winter, even if it does involve getting out of bed at 4am.

Rove and Peter Helliar will be taking over the Merrick & Rosso Breakfast Show from June 13-23.
