Red FM Completes a week at the Perth Royal Show

Red FM has just completed its week at the Royal Perth Show, with Alana McLean and Robbie Klitzing broadcasting Breakfast on Red from the ‘Royal Suite’ overlooking the main arena at Claremont Showgrounds.

Highlights of the weeklong broadcast included Robbie leaning how to shear a sheep in front of a crowd at the Sheep Shearing and Wool Pavilion.

Robbie says “Shearing sheep is tough, I can see why the pros are built like brick shithouses. Learning to do one was tough, let alone 200 a day

Alana got a change to play the bagpipes live on air with the Western Australian Police Bagpipe Band and says “Robbie thought I was hot air before, now here’s the proof. It’s a lot harder than it looks.

Program Director, Dan Cole, says “It was a great opportunity for Red FM to bring the excitement of the show to peoplein regional WA who might not otherwise get the chance to experience the fun.
