Ray Hadley's daughter tells her dad she's been caught speeding

When Ray Hadley’s daughter Sarah rang her father to tell him she had just been pulled over by the police for doing 96km in a 40km roadworks zone, he took the news quite well.
But when Sarah suggested that instead of walking everywhere after losing her licence that she would just get a boyfriend to drive her, he became a little concerned.
The call was part of KIIS 106.5’s Kyle & Jackie O ‘Only Lying’ call this morning.

Ron Camplin’s forgotten more than most know about the industry’

From humble beginnings as a 15-year-old lunch runner at 2CH in 1948, Ron Camplin has gone on to become one of the most loved and respected men in Australian radio. 

This year marks 70 memorable years in radio for Ron.

Ron launched his company Camplin Broadcasters in 1969 and went on to buy and run 2BS with his wife Stephanie in 1984.

He was awarded an OAM for services to the Commercial Broadcasting industry and the local community in 1995.

He went on to become a member of the Commercial Radio Australia Hall of Fame in 2002.

For Hadley, it’s business as usual

This week Jonesy launched what he is calling the 'Radio Free Trade Agreement', and has called on industry greats, usually competitors, to put their differences aside and unite as one to support Keller.
