Hadley faces legal action from Blue Mountains GM

2GB’s Ray Hadley is facing legal action from Blue Mountain’s City Council GM, Rosemary Dillion, who alleges that the broadcaster damaged her character, reputation and business during a broadcast in May.

Ms Dillion’s action comes a year after an interim report cleared the council of any wrongdoing following a public inquiry into asbestos related problems in the Blue Mountains going back to 2012.

Ray Hadley to remain in hospital

Macquarie Media and 2GB have released a statement on the ongoing health issue of Ray Hadley, saying that he will remain in hospital.
Hadley was forced to leave his onair shift on Monday as he succumbed to an attack of diverticulitis.

The following statement was posted on the 2GB website

Ray was admitted to hospital on Monday after another attack of diverticulitis.

It’s a painful condition that has required treatment in hospital.

Media legend inducted into the NRL Hall of Fame

Peter Frilingos, one of the founding members of the Continuous Call Team, has been honoured with induction into the NRL Hall of Fame.
At a ceremony to be held in Sydney tonight, Continuous Call Team host Ray Hadley will accept the award alongside Peter’s wife Maureen, son Matt and daughter Anna.
Peter receives the award in recognition for his contribution to Rugby League as a print journalist.

Hadley faces legal action from former staff member

2GB's Ray Hadley has addressed the recent bullying claims of a former staff member and the pending legal action.

Earlier this year  a facebook post from Chris Bowen outlined his years of torment as Ray Hadley’s studio producer, and within a month this was followed by accusations of bullying and intimidation by a further three former staff members and a political adviser.

In discussing other nominees, Ray described Dave Hughes as looking like “…an unmade bed, and a head like a Mongolian trotting duck”.
