The 2GB morning host pipped Hit Network funnyman Dave Hughes into second place in the nationwide contest organised by Take 5 magazine.
Reigning champ Brendan Jones came sixth this year, one place below ARN stablemate Kyle Sandilands.

2GB’s Ray Hadley has vowed to become an advocate for sufferers of PTSD following the dismissal of charges against his son, Danial Hadley.
In August Daniel was arrested in possession of 0.66 grams of cocaine and yesterday a magistrate dismissed the charge under the Mental Health Act.

At the time of the arrest his father said he felt inadequate as a father 

Ray Hadley becomes longest serving commercial radio football caller

Ray Hadley marked a milestone yesterday, becoming commercial radio's longest serving rugby league football caller.

The previous record holder, Frank Hyde, was on air calling footy for 31 years. Yesterday Hadley began his 32nd year of football calling, after first beginning in 1982.

The NRL season has officially begun today with Hadley and his Continuous Call team scheduled to start covering matches from this week.

I don't like being lied to: Hadley to Treasurer Scott Morrison

Ray Hadley has dumped Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison from a regular Monday chat segment, because he felt Morrison's office did not tell him the truth about where Morrison would be at the regular planned time this week.

At the time he was scheduled to do his regular chat with Hadley, the Treasurer was on air on ABC Radio Melbourne with Jon Faine. The Faine chat went for about 20 minutes, between about 9:05 to 9:25, where he talked about the upcoming budget, housing affordability and state government funding.
