The Chaser has released its first comedy album

Just one decade after albums became not a thing, The Chaser has released “The Non-Essential Collection”.

According to the team, it is a tribute to all the non-essential workers who’ve done so little for society in the past couple of months.

It features 100 audio sketches plus a bonus original song by Andrew Hansen called “The Pandemic Panic”.

The album is available to buy on the Apple iTunes store, and can be streamed on all major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.

Has National Sickie Day become a national strike?

A call by Radio Chaser for a National Sickie Day this Friday has now morphed into something a little more serious with revelations that 40% of Australia’s workforce don’t get access to sick leave and now over 100,000 people have registered on the web site to take part in what started out as a tongue in cheek stunt.
In the latest move Mick Molloy has agreed to be the official Ambassador of National Sick Day.

With the flu season spiralling out of control, there have been increased calls from medical health professionals to stay at home if you think you may be sick.
In fact, taking a sickie may be the most valuable thing you do this flu season, so to raise awareness for this important cause, Radio Chaser has declared next Friday 28th June National Sickie Day, and launched a website, where people can pledge to chuck a sickie to support the cause.

Triple M IDs, a Netflix original?
