Pure Gold lineup of touring artists

WS FM101.7 and GOLD104.3 are proud sponsors of The Eagles, Roxette, and the Queen + Adam Lambert Australian tours and will present a host of other live performances in Sydney and Melbourne from this June to March 2015, reinforcing the stations’ commitment to delivering a fun mix of contemporary hits and quintessential rock, both on the airwaves and in concert.
 
Iconic Australian band Mondo Rock kick things off in June when they hit the road for the first time in 24 years. Ross Wilson, Eric McCusker, James Black, Paul Christie and Gil Matthews are reuniting for this very special run of national shows, which coincides with the 3rd anniversary of the bands breakthrough album, Chemistry.
 
Queen + Adam Lambert will rock audiences in August with their mix of rock attitude, style and theatrics. Audiences will be treated to all the band’s biggest hits, beloved power ballads and classic rock.
 
Australian music legend James Reyne will also hit the stage in August, bringing fans something of an Australian Crawl reunion. Bringing together an exceptional band to play the most loved songs from Australian Crawl, it promises to be a no holds barred night of classic Aussie rock ‘n’ roll.
 
Sydney-born international star Rick Springfield returns home to set out on his first full Australian tour as a solo performer in October. Best known for his No. 1 his single ‘Jesse’s Girl’ Rick will treat audiences to a night of superb rock and well-known hits from a career spanning three decades. Meanwhile, less than two years after his last Australian tour, 80s favourite Rick Astley is ready to do it all over again in November with a string of national dates.
 
Then 2015 kicks off in style when Swedish pop-rockers Roxette return to Australian stages in February. More than two years since they last visited our shores, the duo are set to do it all again, joined this time by special guests Boom Crash Opera.
 
February will also see the “History of the Eagles” tour take to the stage in Melbourne before heading to Sydney in March. Spanning all eras of their illustrious career, the critically acclaimed show will include members of the band sharing career highlights and some of the stories behind their hits and sentimental album tracks. The tour will include a performance at Hope Estate, in the Hunter Valley.
