OVO Mobile has signed an “industry game-changing” deal with Southern Cross Austereo to offer radio fans unlimited access to Australia’s largest FM radio networks The Hit Network and Triple M.
58 radio stations across the metro and regional Triple M and Hit Network are now accessible to OVO Mobile customers – totally free of data charges – via OVO Mobile’s innovative OVOPlay app.
Boasting exclusive entertainment and sport offerings with live streams from OVO’s myriad media partners – now including SCA – the OVOPlay web app is accessible free of charge and data free to all OVO Mobile subscribers.
“Radio fans that are listening to their favourite shows on the bus or train, while they’re exercising or even while watching their kids’ sports game can now tune-in anywhere and anytime and it won’t burn up their data. Many people are already loving the flexibility of listening to radio over the net and now – with OVO’s data free offer this is the icing on the cake,” said Matt Jones, OVO Mobile CEO.
Figures currently show that 3.6 million Australians, or 27% of the population in the five capital cities, listen to digital radio via DAB+ devices each week.1

Anyone with an OVO Mobile account will be able to stream this content data-free.
