After three years of waking up Newcastle, Hit106.9 Breakfast Announcer Simon Baggs will be departing the show Nick, Jess & Simon at the end of 2019. 
 
Simon arrived in Newcastle as a fill-in jock nearly three years ago and in that time, he became a permanent member of the line up at the start of 2018.
 

Since the bankruptcy of White Ribbon Australia, Newcastle’s Hit106.9 breakfast trio Nick, Jess & Simon made it their goal to raise as much awareness a possible for the work White Ribbon did in the local community and for domestic violence on a grander scale.

Simon Baggs will walk 50 km from Stockton to Swansea.
