SCA’s partnership involves the Hit92.9 and mix94.5 brands, and both are frothing over the opportunity to get behind a WA-grown event, particularly with a line-up including beer, food and live entertainment.

mix94.5’s ‘Captain’ Paul Shepherd calls time on his radio career

mix94.5’s ‘Captain’ Paul Shepherd announced his retirement from radio this morning on Clairsy, Matt and Kymba, after over 30 years on air.

Paul was diagnosed with bowel cancer in August and after undergoing surgery has been receiving chemotherapy treatment and making regular guest appearances on the show.

In retirement he will be moving to Denmark to spend time with his family, his best friend, Golden Labrador, Bella and in true Captain Paul style, build a plane.

Dave Ferrier has been appointed mix94.5’s new host of The Rush Hour, officially starting Monday August 5th.
Dave comes home to Perth from 101.9 Fox FM in Melbourne where he was most recently anchor of Carrie & Tommy, plus producing & starring in a number of nationally syndicated shows, such as The Sunday Night Experiment on the Hit network.

Ryan Jon leaves Heidi & Xavier and heads east
