iHeartRadio Australia will air a global music special this weekend

ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia announced that One World: Together At Home, a globally streamed special in support of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, will air on Sunday, 19 April from 10am - 12 pm AEST on Sydney’s KIIS 1065, Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1, Brisbane’s 97.3FM, Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 and on ARN’s iHeartRadio Australia.
 

ARN have announced their Survey Break schedule

ARN stations have released their broadcasting schedule for the upcoming survey break with only some of their breakfast teams opting to take a break while the rest will stay onair. 
 
The Kyle & Jackie O Show will showcase their best moments, and extend the Hour of Power at 8am, 12pm and 6pm and WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda have curated Jonesy & Amanda’s Light Relief which will air the top moments of 2020 so far.
 

New year and new imaging for ARN's stations

ARN has launched new marketing campaigns to kick start the new year for Sydney’s KIIS 1065 and WSFM, Melbourne’s GOLD104.3 and KIIS 101.1, Brisbane’s 97.3FM, Adelaide’s Mix102.3 and Perth’s 96FM. 
 
All campaigns roll out across digital and social channels today with a staggered outdoor launch across coming weeks in all markets.

Erin Phillips joins Soda for breakfast in Adelaide

Mix 102.3 Adelaide’s Jodie & Soda Breakfast Show will start the new year with Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom joined on air with special guest presenter Erin Phillips.
 
Erin is a two-time Premiership captain for the AFLW Adelaide Crows and Australian sporting superstar and joins Soda as Jodie Oddy is currently on maternity leave and will return in April.

Mix 102.3’s Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom loves a challenge, having recently tried to beat a Guinness World Record by staying awake while riding a ferris wheel for 52 hours and then eating  a 4.2kg steak, the biggest ever eaten at Adelaide restaurant Gaucho’s.
 
This week he completed the New York Marathon in less than four hours and just for fun decided to take on an eating challenge at New York restaurant Otto’s Tacos where the record for the soft-shell tacos eaten in one hour is 31.

Jodie Oddy gets 12 months driving ban

Mix 102.3 Adelaide breakfast radio host Jodie Oddy, has been banned from driving for 12 months after being found to have been drink driving at five times over the legal limit, when she crashed into a tree last December while travelling in a 50 kph zone.
 
Oddy returned a reading of 0.256 at the South Coast District Hospital following the crash in Middleton that had forced another drive to brake suddenly moments before the crash.

Five babies aged under 12 months, all unable to walk, were handpicked from hundreds of entrants for the one-off race.
