Mix 101.1 in Melbourne have created and filled two new content positions. Mitch Braund joins the station as Head of Presentation and Matt Argoon as Breakfast Audio Producer.

Braund has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Throughout his career he has held Content and Music Director roles with B105, MMM (Melb/Bris/Syd) and SAFM. Braund was most recently Breakfast Executive Producer for Mix 106.5 in Sydney.

Mix 101.1 Content Director, Brendon Dangar said: “Mitch brings years of content experience to the table and will be overseeing the overall on-air tone and presentation of Mix 101.1. He comes well-armed with experience to give us an added edge in Melbourne’s unsettled radio landscape and I am thrilled he is on board, now giving me more time for the beach.”

Argoon joins Mix direct from Southern Cross Austereo where he was most recently Image Producer for Perth’s 94.5 and is looking forward to returning to his hometown of Melbourne and his beloved “Tigers”.

Brendon Dangar said: “We are delighted Matt is joining the Mix101.1 breakfast team. His role as Audio Producer will provide the content team with further resources to deliver a dynamic Breakfast show.”

Mitch Braund’s position is effective immediately and Matt Argoon begins on Monday 10 February.
