Tommy Little says goodbye to Nova Breakfast

This morning Tommy Little revealed to Nova listeners that he will not be returning to Nova breakfast in 2016.

With Chrissie Swan already announced as Meshel’s replacement in the new year, Nova is still yet to reveal her new co-host.

No break for Lewis and Lowe

Lewis & Lowe will host Nova’s breakfast show in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide from Monday 29 June while the usual hosts take a mid year break.

Lewis & Lowe said, “When we first heard the news we thought we were being stitched up by Fitzy & Wippa...We’re still not sure it’s real but enormously excited by the chance to make some new friends across the country. We’ve been waking up with Adelaide for close to three years, we’ll now just have a few more people involved from the 29 June, is that hygienic?”

Meshel & Tommy's Choice Tour of NZ

Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy will take 16 listeners on a trip through New Zealand’s South Island during their Choice Tour beginning Monday 22 June.
Throughout the week the team will set up in caravan parks as they travel in convoy from Christchurch to Queenstown, stopping at Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill along the way. Every morning Meshel & Tommy will broadcast live from a local radio station in each town.

All week Meshel & Tommy shared the Dream Machine with their listeners as reported earlier by radioinfo.
Thursday Meshel & Tommy’s Producer Liza hit the Hume Highway in the Dream Machine with the aim to see how far North she could travel on one tank of petrol.

Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy purchased their promo guy’s abandoned 1992 Mercedes Benz 190E and gave it new life by transforming a hunk of junk into the Dream Machine.

Today the Dream Machine’s journey will come to end at an unknown destination.

Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy revealed that chef Heston Blumenthal will join them at the pop up restaurant The Chubby Pigeon this Friday 6 February.

Blumenthal, the mastermind behind the three Michelin-starred restaurant The Fat Duck, and the inspiration for The Chubby Pigeon concept, will be dining at Meshel & Tommy’s exclusive establishment.

Yesterday Tommy excitedly announced, “Heston is joining us on Friday morning at The Chubby Pigeon. Heston is on board for The Chubby Pigeon! What a legend. What a coup. How great.”
