Will and Mel join Rowey, Bicks and Jarrod on Drive

Will Goodings and Mel Usher have joined the FIVEaa Drive Sports Show.
 
The move is designed to provide regular hosts Rowey, Bicks and Jarrod with the latest information and news on COVID-19, as well as bringing listeners up to date on the significant events of the day.
 
Will and Mel will provide live segments of relevant news, audio and content every 20 minutes throughout the program, beginning at the top of the hour from 4pm, and continuing to 6pm.

This year Nova Entertainment Journalist Mel Usher celebrates her 20th year in commercial radio.

Mel started at Triple M Adelaide in 1997, "handing out icy cold cans of Coke by day and answering phones on Rocks By Request by night".

Since then she has worked as an announcer, breakfast producer, PA, panel op, web mistress,  promotions, journalist, sports reporter and AM/FM newsreader across three networks.

Southern Cross Austereo has stood down another of their long standing journalists. 

Monique Crichton was SCA Adelaide's News Director for the last 15 years with the position made redundant last week.

Monique also read news on Triple M and was twice nominated for an ACRA as Best Newsreader FM in the Metro category.

Adelaide’s Hit107 has parted ways with afternoon journalist Mel Usher amid news last week The Hit Network will roll out a new streamlined news service weekdays, from 4pm-6pm across all metro markets.
