Comedic duo Matt Okine and Alex Dyson have returned to the world of audio to serve up Australia’s first on-demand breakfast show, Matt & Alex -  All Day Breakfast, available weekday mornings on Southern Cross Austereo’s PodcastOne Australia.
 

O Week has begun at most universities around Australia so the team at triple j want to get in on the action.

All this week triple j Brekkie’s Matt & Alex have been racing against their Drive counterparts, Veronica & Lewis, to complete a series of O Week challenges at universities all over the country.

The stakes are high and the challenges epic, with the winner of the O-Mazing Race getting a day off and the loser being forced to host 12 hours of radio.

triple j Breakfast’s Matt & Alex have concluded their quest to trade Matt Okine’s relatively worthless $10 expired scratchie ticket for a $7000 snow cone and fairy floss business which they have donated to youth charity Red Frogs.

The mission, which began over 3 months ago, has seen the boys travel across the country to exchange the scratchie for a Pokemon card, then a car, a pregnant alpaca named Lucky, a diamond ring and finally everything they needed to become the owners of an ice shaving business.

This year is the 11th of the One Night Stand concert series, where triple j takes the country’s best musicians to small towns around Australia for the biggest party of the year. 

On Saturday 17 May, it happens again. This year triple j will be joined by Illy, RÜFÜS, Dan Sultan, Violent Soho and The Jungle Giants.

 The lucky town that will host the show will be announced by Matt & Alex on triple j breakfast this Thursday, March 13.
