Tomorrow marks 15 years since i98FM Breakfast Show host Marty Haynes took to the Illawarra airwaves.

This morning the station celebrated Marty’s milestone with a special edition of the Breakfast Show.

From 6am till 9am, guests and callers who have been part of the show and Marty’s life for the past 15 years called in.

This special dedication highlighted Marty’s previous co-hosts along with friends like Craig Bellamy, Tim Bailey, Brad Jones and of course Marty’s family.

i98FM's Illawarra Convoy raises record amount

The final tally for i98FM’s Illawarra Convoy has been announced by i98 Breakfast Show hosts Marty Haynes, Fairlie Hamilton and Ryan Cram.

The Convoy which was held last Sunday November 20, raised an astounding $1,805,306...beating last year’s record of $1,725,057.

This Sunday, the team known as ‘The Dandaloo Boys’ will be front and centre leading the trucks at the i98FM Illawarra Convoy along with Caltex and Mt Kembla Pub leading the motorbikes.

At midday today, bidding between local companies culminated on air with i98FM Breakfast Show hosts Marty Haynes, Fairlie Hamilton and Ryan Cram.

Station welcomes Fairlie back to the fold

Former i98 presenter Fairlie Hamilton is returning to the station to co-host the Breakfast slot with Marty Haynes.

Hamilton, who is well-known to listeners from her previous six-year stint at the station, had no doubts about taking up an offer to rejoin the crew, having missed the amazing Illawarra lifestyle during her recent travels.

Bec becomes a bikie for i98FM Camp Quality Convoy

This morning, local Camp Quality Mum Bec Stewart won the honour of being the lead bike in this Sunday’s i98FM Camp Quality Convoy with Breakfast Show hosts Marty Haynes and Bianca Dye.

The bidding was fierce between Bec and local companies Fastway Couriers, Riviera Pools and Takeidokai Martial Arts who joined together to make an incredible $54,973 donation. However thanks to a generous last minute contribution of $8,000 from John at Strata Consolidation, Bec was able to make a final bid of $60,000 to be the lead bikes.
