Leading into the Caloundra Music Festival, 92.7 Mix FM put the call out for listeners to win a Meet and Greet with the one and only Ronan Keating.

Listeners were asked, Could You Say Nothing At All for Ronan?

The challenge has been set and 5 lucky listeners will tomorrow be locked in the 92.7 Mix FM Ronan Room from 6am to 5pm in an attempt to be the last one standing.

The catch? They must say nothing at all, not one peep!

A Sunshine Beach woman has agreed to be locked in a small room at 92.7 Mix FM Sunshine Coast, listening to the same Adele song, ‘Rolling in the Deep’ 1500 times.  75 hours of non-stop Adele.
48-year-old Evonne Mitchell was dared by her teenage children to make the pledge, in an effort to WIN TWO Gold tickets to see Adele LIVE at The Gabba, this Sunday.

Steve Irwin Day was celebrated at Australia ZOO today with 92.7 MIX FM's Mark and Caroline broadcasting Breakfast live from the worldwide Sunshine Coast based tourist attraction.

Celebrated each year on 15 November, Steve Irwin Day is an annual international event honouring the life and legacy of the one and only Crocodile Hunter, who died while filming a documentary on Batt Reef in 2006​​

They spoke with Robert, Bindi and Terri Irwin, Steve's American-born wife who weighed in on Donald Trump's win in the American election.

Sunshine Coast breaks a GM5K record

A flying sign, soaring above the Sunshine Coast has boasted $373,822, the largest amount ever donated in the month long fundraiser.


92.7 Mix FM’s breakfast personalities Mark & Caroline, as well as afternoon crew Todd & Sami, worked tirelessly for the month of June, helping co-ordinate and publicise more than 40 separate events, all to raise much needed funds for paediatric health services on the Sunshine Coast.

The segment was a short story on local Sunshine Coast young man Col Miller who was tragically killed in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane.

92.7 MIX FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids has raised a record $312,586.18 to help change local sick children’s lives.
The  final fundraising number for 2015 was revealed this morning by plane to the cheers of those below.
92.7 MIX FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids has raised over 3.4 million dollars in 15 years for Sunshine Coast children’s health services. The startling figure of $312,586.18 for 2015 sets a new record for the appeal, and means an average of over ten thousand dollars was raised every day of the month for the charity.
