The oldies think so. Well, some anyway.

All this week on KIIS 1065, Kyle and Jackie O have been doing random acts of kindness, helping out people in need.
As part of that, Kyle, a former judge on tv talent shows such as X Factor, Idol and Australia's Got Talent, headed along to a local nursing home to entertain some of the residents.

Dressed to impress, Kyle showed off his best dance floor moves while busting out a tune for the residents.

Who knew Kyle Sandilands could sing… well, kind of sing.

It all started on Monday when Rosso pointed out on Twitter that his co-host Matty Baseley had less Twitter followers than Sunrise’s Cash Cow.
For a bit of fun, Rosso encouraged people to ‘get behind Matty’ to help the poor guy out.

Britain’s charismatic leading lady of indie pop, Lily Allen is set to perform a special, intimate Sydney concert at a secret venue on Saturday July 26, exclusively for iHeartRadio Live, presented by KIIS 1065.

The UK artist will perform songs from her brand new album Sheezus, plus some of her most well-known hits.

Hot on the heels of recent iHeartRadio Live events with Kylie Minogue and Ed Sheeran, the exclusive KIIS 1065 afternoon event will be "a party not to be missed."

With X Factor about to return to our TV screens, KIIS and Channel 7 have combined to give both outlets a heap of promotion by giving viewers and listeners a chance to share in $30,000.
The money’s been hidden all over Sydney. All listeners have to do is to find it. Actually, they have to listen to KIIS 1065 and follow them on Twitter for clues and then find the cash.

A report in the Daily Telegraph, attributed the ubiquitous “radio insider” that Mel Greig, the former SCA announcer who was embroiled in the Royal Prank affair, is joining KIIS 106.5 has been flatly denied by ARN.

Network Program Director, Duncan Campbell told radioinfo, “Let me reiterate that there is no truth to these rumours. We have not met with Mel Greig or discussed the possibility of Mel and Tim presenting a show on any of our stations.”

Ed Sheeran is set to be the second in the the iHeartRadio Live shows Mix101.1 and KIIS 1065 are bringing to Australia.
Following on from Kylie Minogue, set to perform at Trak Lounge in Melbourne this weekend for the new Live series, Ed Sheeran will put on his multiply show, including songs from his new album plus some of his well-known hits.

Rosso announces Sam Armytage leaving Sunrise for 60 Minutes

Sunrise host Sam Armytage was guest co-host on Sydney’s KIIS 1065 and Melbourne’s Mix 101.1 yesterday afternoon and Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross decided they were in for a simple game of Truth or Dare.
Sam opted for truth but politely declined to answer the question Have you kissed Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet?, after huge media interest over the past few weeks.

Who knew so many people would want to watch radio hosts remain silent – for four hours no less?
WSFM received a 30% bump in website views yesterday when Jonesy and Amanda entered the Cone of Silence to see who could stay silent the longest.
