Kiis 101.1 announces multitude of appointments

ARN has announced a number of new key appointments to Melbourne’s hottest new radio station, KIIS 101.1, launching on January 19, 2015.

  • Sacha French as Executive Producer
  • Sarah Griffith as Producer for 3PM Pick UP
  • Matt Acton as Drive Anchor
  • Cushla Travers as Executive Producer of Breakfast
  • Simon Baggs as Breakfast Anchor

Sacha French joins KIIS 101.1 as Executive Producer of the new national drive show with Hughesy and Kate in 2015. Sacha began her career in radio in New Zealand but has spent the last 13 years producing FM radio in Australia – 12 of those as Executive Producer of Hughesy and Kate on NOVA 100. In 2014, she produced the national drive show on Triple M – The One Percenters. 

Assisting Sacha in drive is Sarah Griffith, who will also be producing 3PM Pick Up. Sarah is already a part of the ARN family, coming from Mix 106.3 in Canberra where she is currently Breakfast EP. Sarah has also worked at 2DAYFM and MMM in Sydney producing shows like Dan & Maz, Merrick and the Highway Patrol and the Hot 30. 

As we announced yesterday, Matt Acton will also be joining KIIS 101.1 drive as the anchor with Hughesy & Kate. He has worked with SCA for the past 12 years at 2DAYFM as Music Director and as of host of the national Hot 30 and more recently a part of the SeaFM Breakfast Show on the Gold Coast.

In Breakfast, Cushla Travers joins KIIS 101.1 as Executive Producer of Matt Tilley and Jane Hall for Breakfast, replacing Brooke Bayes’ on maternity leave.

For the last year, Culsha has produced Melbourne’s #1 breakfast program – Ross Stevenson and John Burns on 3AW. She has also produced with newsmakers Neil Mitchell and Tom Elliott, as well as gigs at Fox FM, & Triple M.

Already part of the ARN family, Simon Baggs will be travelling south in 2015 to join the new Breakfast team on KIIS 101.1 anchoring Matt Tilley and Jane Hall for Breakfast. Simon joined ARN in 2013 and in 2014 was an announcer on KIIS 1065.
