Most people know Jose Auditore as one of the founders of the Radio Green Room chat group, but not everyone knows of his extensive media career.

Radio Green Room facebook group founder Jose Auditore is gravely ill.

Jose is in hospital being treated by an Oncologist for kidney failure and liver malfunction. He is highly medicated.

Jose and a small group of broadcasting colleagues founded the private facebook group in 2013 to foster positive friendly discussion about radio.

The group now has over 5,000 members.

Last week we brought you the news that SCA's Adelaide stations were trialing a new system which allowed the local breakfast hosts to be heard across all the network's DAB+ stations, as well as on the main FM station in the market.

There’s a lot of people in regional radio doing news but because of time restraints, multi-tasking or budgets, a lot of bulletins are mainly press releases and items from the local paper. As Jose Auditore discovered, 2XL and Snow FM’s Andrew Page has done things a little differently and one day we might just hear “Hello World.......This is Andrew Page”.

2NM and Power FM’s Wayne Clark has dealt with a lot of BS over his 33 years in the radio industry, but pretty soon he’ll be doing it fulltime.  

Before his departure from 2NM Jose Auditore talked to Wayne about his time in the business and his future, breeding Angus cattle, in this interview for radioinfo.
