Gold 104.3’s Christian O’Connell has paid tribute to UK broadcaster, John Myers who has died at the age of 60.
 
The former BBC Radio Cumbria presenter's death was announced by his son on social media and followed a bout of cancer in 2018.
 
Christian tweeted today that he was “Stunned at John Myers passing. Incredible spirit. Real radio guy. Loved him.”
