"That is bloody hilarious": Kate's Langbroek's spoof gets the thumbs up

Tuesday 16 May, 2017
The KIIS Network's Kate Langbroek has created a buzz with a spoof video mocking Gina Liano's latest perfume commercial, but it was met with bated breath yesterday as Gina herself saw the video for the first time.

Inspired by the fragrance entrepreneur, the video sees Kate sauntering around a hotel room dressed as the Real Housewives of Melbourne star to release her new perfume called "My Girlfriend".

Kate was dressed in one of Gina's signature gowns, completing her look with over the top hair and make-up.

Thursday 02 March, 2017
Dave Hughes is making news today not only for admitting he peed in a hotel pool but he's been pranked again by his on-air partner Kate Langbroek.

The national KIIS network's 'Hughesy' has been the butt of many pranks and jokes over the years from Kate but this time she got some inspiration from his old friend Peter Helliar.

We all have to do it, but we all dread it.

Those awkward phone calls, when as soon as you dial you hope you get their voicemail.

KIIS FM’s Kate Langbroek has come up with a simple yet genius way to avoid making these difficult calls.

Introducing Kate Langbroek’s Dubcall.

Kate Langbroek targets ATO scammer live on air

Wednesday 20 July, 2016
Last week the ATO sent out a release, warning consumers that scammers were particularly prevalent this time of year, the tax season.

“In the last couple of years, not only have we seen a significant increase in the number of scams reported to us but also the different types of approaches used by fraudsters,” warned Assistant Commissioner Graham Whyte.

Would you bet $70,000 for a chance to win $467,000?

Monday 02 November, 2015
Hughesy and Kate uncover the ultimate punter.

As a sane radioinfo reader, you might want to take an offer of $70,000 rather than risk it to perhaps win $467,000 on the notoriuously unpredicatble Melbourne Cup.

Yet,  KIIS FM listener Simon, is doing exactly the opposite. Having outlaid some $2,000 on a series of $100 multi bets, he’s parlayed one of them through a number of races, including last week’s Caulfield Cup - where he, once again, picked the winner - to be worth $70,000.

Taking Content Marketing to the limit

Monday 02 November, 2015
It seemed a good fit. An insurance company and a mechanical cow (or bull  - hard to tell) to test how long Hughesy could stay on.

What could go wrong? Which was the whole point of sponsoring the event for insurance brand Bingle. Something could.
