Hot Country Rocks The Snowys

This weekend the Hot Country Radio Network, in association with CMC TV, will rock the NSW Snowy Mountains. Rock The Snowys 2010 live coverage will take Hot Country listeners live to Friday Flat in Thredbo for coverage of this year’s music event.

Two stages will be set up for the music festival, which this year featuris a host of Australia’s best known and upcoming talent including Adam Harvey, Amber Lawrence, Jetty Road and Lee Kernaghan. Overseas acts include the multi award winning Canadian Doc Walker. A crowd of more than 5000 fans are expected to converge on Friday Flat across Friday and Saturday.

Hot Country’s head of programming Greg Parkinson has told radioinfo:

“It’s the largest and biggest logistical exercise we’ve put together since the Hot Country Network first went to air 2 years ago. Chugg Entertainment, Robb Potts and the people at Country Music Channel have been great to work with. With Hot Country Perth Digital, Canberra and Goulburn services taking our Thredbo coverage for the first time, plus Top Country in Darwin, this is a truly Australia wide first for radio and our on line streaming services.”

The coverage will include Hot Country’s Dave Rogerson live backstage, front stage and in the crowd, capturing interviews with the stars, as well as a complete run down of the activities as part of the coverage. Well know industry personality Trevor Smith, former producer of the Outback Club syndicated radio show, will join Rogerson on Hot Country featuring insights and highlights from the weekend’s performers and their music.
