Unemployed mother of three wins $10k

Friday 07 July, 2017

It’s the contest that’s frustrated the Coast since February.

Could you identify a song by title and artist from one beat of music to win $10,000?

This morning Tracey, a mother of three backed her music knowledge and correctly identified ‘Lose Yourself’ by Eminem in one beat of music and landed herself 10 thousand dollars on on Hot 91.1.

It couldn’t have come at a better time for Tracey with both her and her husband currently out of work.

Her husband Phillip has been unemployed for 5 weeks, previously working as a Steel Fixer and Tracey out of work longer, having previously worked for all the major supermarkets.

Not one to miss an opportunity, Dave, Sam and Ash gave Tracey the microphone for the biggest job interview on the Sunshine Coast and a chance to spruik her skills to any potential employers listening.

“You have no idea how much this means to us,” she cried.

Hot 91.1 joined forces with the Sunshine Coast Aero Club wher Ash broadcast LIVE from an “Acrobatic Aeroplane.”

This will be the icing on the cake as she has taken on the challenge of “traditionally male jobs,” all this week.
