Hit105’s Stav, Abby and Matt have reached out to help WWII veteran, 99-year-old Brisbane local Arthur "Bob" Jackson who was left homeless after a fire ripped through his Salisbury home on Sunday night.
Bob is being discharged from Greenslopes Hospital today, but his nephew Gary visited the hit105 studio this morning and the breakfast trio told him the news.
'The community's been wonderful, they've come together from everywhere,' said Gary.

Brine began his career in Geraldton just over a decade ago, then moved to on air roles at SAFM.
He transferred within SCA to Fox FM Melbourne as Assistant PD, and last year Brine moved back to SAFM for the Hit rebrand, and also began the Spotd website.
