Southern Cross Austereo have restructured the Triple M and Hit Networks, in what it says will be a radio first.
 
The role of Network Heads, Gemma Fordham (Hit) and Mike Fitzpatrick (Triple M) will extend to all metro and regional stations including the management of all shows and on-air talent.

Julia Michaels’ ‘Anxiety’ featuring Selena Gomez was the highest new entry of the week, gaining 243 spins, landing at No.22 in the latest Aircheck National Radio Airplay Chart.
 
The move was mainly prompted by the Hit network adding the track to rotation in addition to the Nova network tripling spins.
 

Dylan Alcott will join the Hit Network’s national weekend breakfast show alongside Angus O’Loughlin and returning Hit weekend breakfast host Tanya Hennessy.

Sunday’s are set to sparkle on the Hit Regional Network as Hollywood correspondent Dean McCarthy hits the airwaves on Sundays from 6pm-7pm, giving listeners access to some of the most exclusive parties, award shows and news directly from Hollywood.

In its fifth week on air, Pink’s ‘A Million Dreams’ jumped 8 places to No.13 with 476 spins on Aircheck’s National Radio Airplay Chart.
 
The move was primarily caused by the Hit network upping spins by 48%. KIIS101 Melbourne spun the track the most for the second week in a row with 37 spins, followed by sister station in Sydney, KIIS1065 adding 34 plays.  

With Carrie off on maternity leave, tomorrow on The Carrie & Tommy Show, Keith Urban will be co-hosting the full 90 minute show, 3pm-4:30pm, with Tommy Little on the Hit Network.

Ariana Grande was the biggest mover on the latest Aircheck National Airplay Survey Chart, gaining a massive 61 places, landing at No.14 with ‘Thank U, Next’ thanks to airplay on 19 stations during its second week on .
 
KRock jumped on the bandwagon last week, contributing 16 spins meanwhile, the hit was most played on Beats1, accounting for 10% of all spins.
