The Triple M Grill Team interviewed Greg Parker this morning, the cameraman who remained in the Channel Seven building during the Sydney Siege.

The interview comes ahead of the Sydney Siege specials that both Channel Seven and Nine will be airing at 6:30 on Sunday.

Parker spoke to the trio about working with police snipers for the 17 hours and the toll it has taken on him.

This morning former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden and Cricket Australia boss James Sutherland spoke to Sydney’s Triple M Grill Team about the tragic cricketing accident that left Phillip Hughes in an induced coma after being struck by a bouncer.

Matty Johns asked Matthew Hayden, “What about the bouncer, sports make changes when incidents like this happen….do you foresee in the near future some changes to the rules as far as bouncers are concerned?”

Young was asked about the huge controversy surrounding Rudd; “We had a few problems ourselves before he got into this situation. There was a lot of strange behaviour going on.” Young said.

Brisbane’s Biggest Game of Bullrush has been run and won! Triple M had fifty zorb ball gladiators competing against each other to go into battle with our footy legends. Triple M’s Gordie Tallis, Petero Civoneceva, Ben Hannant and the Grill Team’s Marto lined up to take down fifty zorb balls, and take down they did!
 
There was one ultimate winner who managed to weave his way through our legends to win a brand new Jeep Patriot.

It was a fight to death – according to Gordie Tallis aka “the raging ball”.

High stakes as the Triple M Grill Team make an NRL wager

Triple M The Grill Team’s hard core Penrith Panthers supporter Mark Geyer (MG) and avid Sydney Roosters fan Gus Worland have made a bet - that the supporter of losing team of this weekend’s Panthers v Roosters qualifier will receive a tattoo relating to the opposing team, inked on their butt.

The passionate co-hosts firmly believe their team will win the qualifying round. In fact, both are so certain of their point of view, that the tattoo bet was made. 

Wolf of Wall Street grilled on Triple M, replies on 2Day

Wolf of Wall Street former stockbroker Jordan Belfort joined Triple M's The Grill Team this morning and had a heated confrontation live on-air with a victim of one of his scams.

Belfort, who spent 22 months in jail for money laundering, said he has paid back victims of his fraud, but caller Ken Minor was adamant he is "just a liar" as is still owed about $50-60,000 and can not get in contact with anyone from Belfort's office.

Triple M’s NRL coverage boost pays off for lucky listener

With the NRL season under way for 2014, Sydney's Triple M is hoping to capitalise on its increased coverage of matches this year.

So the Grill Team wasted no time getting amongst the crowd in Round One to promote their breakfast show at Sunday's St George Illawarra Dragons vs. Wests Tigers game.

The Grill team were there to give away a large cheque to the listener whose chosen player scored the first try of the game as part of its $20,000 Try promotion.

The Triple M Grill Team has returned to the air this morning on 104.9 FM in Sydney.

The team of Matty Johns, Mark Geyer, Gus Worland and guest Chris Page started with talk about holidays and how time goes faster during a holiday week than the work week. But they were quick to admit they got 7 weeks off, which most listeners would be pretty happy with.
