Greg Henry marks 25 years in radio

NOW FM’s Greg Henry, has notched up 25 years in radio, beginning as a part of the AFTRS’s radio class of 1994 before getting his first job as Production Manager at 3TR, Traralgon in the first week of November that year.
 
Since then he has worked across the country at 5MMM Adelaide, 4MK/HOT FM Mackay, 2GGG Gunnedah and 2NM/Power FM Muswellbrook.
 
Greg says there are other graduates of the 1994 AFTRS course still in radio, “There’s also my best mate from AFTRS 1994 Troy Carey who is still in the biz running the newsroom at 2GO/Sea FM (MMM/Hit) Gosford. Troy started as a jock at 2XL Cooma then moved to ROX FM Port Macquarie then onto reading news at 2GO/Sea FM for the last 20 odd years working his way up to the position of News Director.
 
“Other Graduates of the AFTRS Class of 1994 still working in an around the industry include voice artist Jo Van Es, Channel 7 News Director Jason Morrison, Ian Campbell who now runs his own on-line news service out of Bega after working for many years for both Commercial & ABC Local Radio services on the NSW South Coast and Cate Grant who has worked for a long time for ABC Radio Hobart as a journalist & presenter.”
