Who's Calling Christian is back and Ronan Keating is first

GOLD104.3’s Christian O’Connell took the very first celebrity calls to kick off the return of Who’s Calling Christian for 2020.
After the success of last year’s inaugural competition, Christian has again put the challenge out to his Gold 104.3 listeners to get celebrities they know, or have managed to get in contact with via social media, to call him on air for their chance to win $20,000 for themselves and $20,000 for the celebrity’s chosen charity.

JAM Nation launches across the Pure Gold Network

ARN will launch a new night show JAM Nation, featuring Jonesy & Amanda, across the Pure Gold Network from Tuesday, 9 June.

The program will air weekdays from 6pm – 7pm on Sydney’s 101.7 WSFM, Melbourne’s GOLD104.3, Brisbane’s 4KQ, and Adelaide’s Cruise1323.

Gold 104.3 breakfast host, Christian O’Connell, will host a new podcast named Stuff Of Legends.

The podcast was previewed by Christian today at Carat and brand experience agency MKTG’s virtual festival, Couch-Ella 2020, and details will be announced in full later this year.

Stuff Of Legends will see Christian inviting some of the world’s funniest and best storytellers to share and discuss three treasured objects from their lives. 

Christian O'Connell to host Nine's ANZAC Day concert

GOLD104.3’s Christian O’Connell will host Channel 9’s ANZAC Day concert Music from The Home Front, alongside Delta Goodrem , Guy Sebastian and David Campbell.
The concert will feature some of Australia’s biggest artists including, Ben Lee, Birds of Tokyo, Courtney Barnett, Dave Dobbyn, Delta Goodrem, Jimmy Barnes and more, and will be broadcast on Channel 9, 25th April from 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

The Christian O’Connell Show - Be Part of Something Special, will bring Christian’s sense of fun, relatable humour and quick wit, to new markets and audiences across Australia, airing weekdays from 7pm – 8pm on Sydney’s WSFM, Melbourne’s GOLD104.3, Brisbane’s 97.3FM, Adelaide’s MIX102.3 and Perth’s 96 FM stations.

ARN closes Melbourne studios due to COVID19

GOLD 104.3’s Christian O’Connell’s first acting appearance on television is a guest role on Neighbours.
Christian played a ‘quirky Englishman’ at a wedding expo and shared a scene with Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne.
He shows her the pre-packaged wedding he has planned, albeit without having a fiancé. Yet.

Christian O'Connell is excited

Christian O'Connell is "very excited," telling his twitter followers today that his program will soon be "available all over Australia."

The breakfast show, which currently airs on Gold FM Melbourne is set to be heard in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and adelaide, according to O'Connell.

It is believed a 'best-of' version of the show will be played on these stations, but ARN has not confirmed any details. O'Connell's tweet is the only clue so far as to the impending change.
