ARN launches WSFM’s $10 million giveaway

WSFM are giving listeners the ultimate power to win what they want, including a shot at $10 million.
 
WSFM’s $10 Million Win What You Want competition will give one listener the choice to walk away with a $101,700 cash prize or take a shot to win either $1 million or $10 million.
 
Content Director Scott Muller says, “The chance to choose your own prize is something we know WSFM listeners love - and with so many chances to win this is going to be one of the biggest competitions in WSFM history.”

The Edge retains its edge in Sydney

The Edge Digital remains at the top of the Sydney market despite dropping 14,000 listeners in the second survey of the year.
 
The Edge (84,000) leads MMM Greatest Hits (70,000), Coles Radio (64,000) and Urban Hits (61,000).
 
MMM Classic Rock shed almost half it’s audience, down 45,000 to 49,000 listeners.

Summer Radio Listening still strong in 2019

The latest Radio Insights research (previously known as AudienScope) shows that listeners consume rado just as much in summer as at other times of the year.

The holiday season does not diminish radio listening, according to the national online survey of behaviour which provides context and additional perspective to the Australian radio ratings.

The research is released quarterly and involves 5,000 respondents per year.

Survey results withheld in Newcastle, sources allege

On survey days it is customary for GfK to inform stations of their results well before the media publishes them.
 
Yet, when the Newcastle survey was released last week that courtesy was, allegedly, not extended to the Super Network stations in that market. 
 
2HD and NEWFM had to wait until the media embargo was lifted at 9:30 am to read their results in radioinfo.
