Fitzy and Wippa app off: verdicts come in

At the beginning of Survey 1 Fitzy and Wippa released one free app each, and asked for input as to which one was superior.

Fitzy’s app channelled the old Magic 8 Balls: shake and receive an answer to any question.

Wippa’s was an alarm clock, complete with scantily-clad videos of himself that one can have the privilege of viewing seconds after they wake up.

In a comprehensive review of the app, News.com.au journalist Claire Porter  called the battle in favour of Wippa:

No offence, Fitzy. We loved your app too, but there’s only so many yes and no answers you can ask before it starts to get a bit weird.

“Wippa’s app, “Wake Up With Wippa”, was superior because it helped us learn a new fact every day.

“And while we can understand that sexy video of you eating chicken in your undies in bed isn’t for everyone, if you close your eyes and dream of radio, Wake Up With Wippa is actually pretty informative.”

Radioinfo tends to agree. We were shocked to learn that Americans consume on average 18 acres of pizza in a single day. And who knew that bamboo could grow up to 36 inches in a day!?

With facts that highlight the gargantuan achievements that can occur within the space of 24 hours, it’s hard not to roll out of bed with a glimmer in your eye and fire in the belly.

Wippa hands down.
