How much? How to get it?

The recent launch of the .radio domain name is an important innovation for the world radio industry.

The domain will be controlled by the European Broadcasting Union, which had an information booth at this year's RadioDays Europe.

Some key points:
You can get the domain name direct from the EBU, or from your domain registry.

It will be cheaper if you get it straight from the EBU, €22 for a private website and about €200 for a professional broadcast company.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has been been formally delegated by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) as the organisation to allocate DOT RADIO  domain names.

The EBU plans to administer the .radio Top Level Domains in consultation with other sister organizations "for the benefit of the radio community worldwide."

The domain name should bring benefits for the EBU and the world radio community, because themed media company related domain names are proving to be lucrative.
