Triple M moves into Perth, and Mix94.5 gets a new look

Triple M gets into Perth, becoming the 49th Triple M station, 92.9 Triple M replacing Hit 92.9.
 
According to SCA, the launch will deliver Triple M’s unique blend of rock, sport and comedy to Perth listeners, already familiar to those who listen to the various Triple M formats on DAB+ or who travel around the state with Triple M currently in 16 regional Western Australian markets.

After an extensive local and global search search, Dave Cameron has been appointed Chief Content Officer for Southern Cross Austereo.
 
Cameron, who has worked with SCA for 25 years, is currently SCA Melbourne General Manager, and in his new role he will be responsible for overseeing and delivering strategic leadership and creative excellence for SCA’s key content initiatives across its 78 FM stations, 10 DAB+ radio stations, extended digital and associated on-demand content.

As Melbourne GM, Dave will be responsible for the day to day running of SCA's Melbourne operations.   
 
On his appointment, Dave said: "After two decades of working across SCA's content, I'm excited to now be taking on a broader management role in Melbourne.
