Award-winning sports journalist Sam McClure is returning ‘home’ to Sportsday where his radio journey began, joining Gerard Healy as co-host from the start of February.
 
McClure, known as one of the industry’s best news-breakers, will join Brownlow medallist Healy and big-name regular guests including Matthew Richardson, Matthew Lloyd, Leigh Matthews and Caroline Wilson to dissect all things sport every Monday – Thursday from 6-8pm.

More than a decade since its inception, the Crocmedia produced AFL Trade Radio has smashed all previous audio, digital and video metrics in a record year of consumption.
 
In 2019, Telstra AFL Trade Radio broadcast 156 hours of radio and 130 hours of live video across AFL.com.au and the AFL Live app, with syndicated windows on 1116 SEN, 1377 SEN+, 1629 SEN SA, SEN.com.au and the SEN app.

Crocmedia to broadcast all Australian Test and Big Bash matches

Crocmedia will broadcast all Australian Test matches and Big Bash games this summer, with SEN’s Gerard Whateley to head the commentary line-up.

Test matche coverage will be live on 1116 SEN in Melbourne and 1629 SEN SA in Adelaide, with ball-by-ball coverage also streamed live on SEN’s digital platforms.

Crocmedia makes a rapid expansion

Crocmedia has acquired broadcast satellite company, Rapid TV with the acquisition spearheading its expansion into live outside broadcast, streaming, satellite and distribution services.
 
This will now complement the existing branded-content and studio services currently delivered by in-house agency, Rainmaker, creating new service offering titled Rainmaker Live, which will deliver live satellite and internet-based vision transfer services in Australia and around the world.
