Marconi Radio Rover attends #CRAconf

It wasn't on the Red Carpet at this year's #ACRAs2015 but Radio Australasia's Marconi Radio Rover was on the Gold Coast ready for 2GB's Live Drive outside broadcast with Ben Fordham following the #CRAconf.

At a celebrity launch function at Sydney's Queen Victoria Building in July, Ben Starr and business partner Patrick Kayrooz unveiled the state of the art Mercedes Benz OB van, which is available for stations to hire.

Growth in September metropolitan radio ad revenue

The Commercial Radio Industry has recorded growth in metropolitan advertising revenue of 12.43% for September, to a total of $70.823 million, according to figures sourced by Deloitte and released today by industry body Commercial Radio Australia (CRA).

National Radio Conference begins

It’s ACRA’s time.
 
That time of the year you are loving yourself sick because you have been nominated in a category or convincing yourself someone sabotaged your entry because your work is so much better than the finalists.
 
I have been to two ACRA’s. My first I was loving myself sick as I had been nominated for and went on to win the Brian White Award for excellence in journalism. The company wouldn’t pay for me to go, so a kind Account Manager convinced CUB to cover my fare to Adelaide with one night’s accommodation.
