2018 Community Radio Awards: Full Winners List

The 2018 CBAA Community Radio Awards were presented last night on the Gold Coast at the conclusion of the community broadcasting sector's annual conference.

This year, the CBAA introduced a number of new awards to its annual event, and presented 34 awards across 33 categories. The winners were diverse, and were a representation of the make-up of the sector, with recipients from a large variety of locations, sizes and communities.

Community broadcasters from across Australia gathered in Melbourne tonight for the 2016 CBAA Community Radio Awards. Winners include Rob Stewart from 8EAR Gove FM (NT) for Outstanding Volunteer Contribution and FBI Radio for Excellence in Digital Media.

Jim Parish received the award for Excellence in Technical Services.

CBAA now accepting workshop proposals for community radio conference

The Community Broadcasting Association is now accepted workshop proposals for their 2016 conference, taking place in Melbourne from 10 – 12 November.
 
The premier event in the community broadcasting calendar, the conference is the largest annual sector gathering, and a unique event that brings broadcasters together to develop and strengthen their skills, knowledge base and network.
