Doctor Dave departs

Saturday 14 December, 2013

Dave Gosper died last week after losing his battle with cancer. We will update details when more is known.

Dave Gosper's heart was in radio.

Dave worked most of Canberra's stations over the years. Aftre working on air at 2CA, he became part of the revolution when FM came to Canberra and styled himself after the classic 1970s rock jocks, calling himself Doctor Dave on air and cultivating an image of a long haired bearded rocker.

But when that era came to an end, he reinvented himself, becoming a copywriter then creative director.
